Spring Charter - Saturday, April 10, 2010
Barrie/Orillia - A Parkinson Coach Lines highway coach will be chartered for a northern trip to two cities that have never been visited by the TTS. The details are not finalized but it will be an 8-9 hour charter with stops in Barrie and Orillia and will hopefully include garage visits in each city. We may even make a quick stop in Newmarket on the way up.
Transportation Weekend 2010 - Saturday/Sunday September 4/5, 2010
For something different next year (and mainly because of the high TTC charter costs), we will be taking Transportation Weekend "on the road". With help from SMS (YUL Bus Charters), we are having a Montreal weekend. On the Saturday, we will charter a STM Classic for a tour of Montreal. We will try not to duplicate areas that have already been covered by YUL during one of their charters and hopefully we can plan the routing to intercept Nova Artics along the way. For the Sunday, in keeping with the rail theme of previous weekends, we will be visiting Exporail in Delson, QC. We will charter a bus to take us there, probably aboard a RTL Classic or possibly a Limocar vehicle. We also hope to have an optional Friday night ride on the Deux Montanges electric commuter line. As well, we will try to recommend a host hotel that will be convenient for everyone. People will be on their own to travel to Montreal but there are lots of options (car pool, VIA, Megabus, etc.).
DRT Christmas Lights Charter - Saturday, December 11, 2010
Our standard Christmas Lights charter will include 3 hours during the day and 3 hours during the early evening. The vehicle of choice will probably be a DRT East Orion V (ex-Oshawa Transit) although this is not finalized.
Private Fan Charters:
TTC '91 Orion V Charter, Saturday, 6 March 2010
A private fan farewell charter will be held on March 6, 2010, and it will run from 10:00 to 14:00/15:00 depending on the turn out. A second bus will be chartered if there are enough participants interested. The organizers of the charter are looking to trace over Old Eglinton and Malvern routes that these buses once operated on after their delivery. OTC OC Transpo 8900 series MCI Classic Charter - May 29, 2010

- " I am proud to present a 1989 Classic Charter.
The 1989 Classics at OC Transpo are expected to be completely retired when the entire 2010 Hybrid order comes in, so for this reason right now these are most at risk. I have already contacted OC Transpo and booked this charter so it will happen.
I also have some photostops in mind that I would contribute to this charter, and I will be checking for sun angles so that pictures turn out perfect. - Currently, I do not have a set price for this charter, but I am estimating that it would cost $35/person.

Peterborough Transit Charter - July 4, 2010 - EVENT CANCELLED -
Hosted by Mike Boone, this charter will be held aboard Peterborough Transit's lone Orion V in the fleet (possible subsitution with a 1990 ex-UTA Classic should the original bus be wrapped or subsequently retired).
