Issue #117

The Cover Story:

Oakville Transit was launched in 1972 as a replacement for a franchised service.  In the next 50 years it grew into a large and effective transit system providing residents with easy access to GO Transit services to Toronto and beyond.  In this issue we look at the journey Oakville Transit has taken.  Also, we commemorate the history of a private commuter service that existed in Manitoba.  It had a long and varied life but has now succumbed to economic reality and the changing times.  One for the history books!
