Two Nova Scotia Light and Power streetcars number 16 and number 13, are passing at a siding in St. John’s, NL.   These are single-truck, double-end cars that operate in either direction on a single track.   The fact that the system was primarily single track with the streetcars operating in the centre of the street meant that the change to driving on the right did not significantly affect streetcar users.   Bus users had a larger adjustment to make when the rule of the road changed on the second day of 1947.
