CTHF is sponsoring this exciting weekend event with two charter bus trips for those interested in Ottawa’s transit history. The vehicle types to be operated will be retired in the next year or two as OC Transpo takes delivery of new XE40 and XD60 buses from New Flyer and LFSe+ buses from Novabus. Numerous photo stops will be scheduled on both days.

We will charter a New Flyer D40i (Invero) on Saturday, May 16, departing from St. Laurent Station at 1:00 PM, returning at 5:30 PM. There will be no lunch stop on Saturday.

On Sunday, May 17 we will charter a New Flyer D60LF, departing from Tunney’s Pasture Station at 10:00 AM, returning at 3:00 PM. A brief lunch stop is included on Sunday.

These times may assist out-of-town attendees to travel to Ottawa prior to the Saturday departure time and to return home immediately after the Sunday charter.
