The CTHF was in Ottawa for the Victoria Day long weekend this year. Two heritage tours were conducted using two types of vehicles that will be retired by OC Transpo in the near future. On Saturday, 51 people attended and rode two New Flyer D40i (Invero) buses around the eastern part of Ottawa. The eastern extension of the Line 1 LRT was highlighted.

On Sunday, one New Flyer D60LF articulated bus was chartered for the 47 participants and the western Line 1 LRT extension was highlighted. The trip also explored the recently opened Line 2 LRT extension to Limebank. The Line 1 eastern extension is scheduled to open later this year with the western extension following in 2027 or 2028.
