With the opening of Ottawa’s new LRT line in mid-September, the Bulletin takes a look back at the history of transit Ottawa. From its basic beginnings, including a visit by royalty, to the end and ultimate return of electric transit after a 60-year gap the city’s transportation system has come a long way and is poised to continue to moving forward.

An update on the restoration effort for car 696 is also included.
