Issue 127 Preview:
The City of Hamilton, ON started transit operations using streetcars in May of 1874. Over the years the system has seen transit modes fade out to be replaced by new ones while still providing effective public transportation for its citizens. That evolution has continued to the present day with new technologies still on the horizon. In this issue, we look back at the system’s beginnings and its progress to the present day, all while never losing sight of its origins (and possible future?) as a street railway.
