Alex Regiec

34 years in public transit planning and operations, and transportation network planning.

Alex is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Master of City Planning degree and is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. He began his career in Toronto briefly working for the Canadian Urban Transit Association before returning to the west where he worked for 29 years as the Transit Operations Planner for Winnipeg Transit. He is currently the Transportation Master Plan Lead for the City of Winnipeg Public Works Department. A vintage transit bus and motor coach enthusiast, he is also a board member of the Manitoba Transit Heritage Association, a CTHF affiliate organization.
