Klaus Peter Canavan

Highly accomplished professional with over 27 years of experience in the transit industry.

Klaus Peter holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen Technical University in Germany / ETH University in Zurich, as well as an MBA from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He began his career as a project manager with Kiepe Electric and, after successful delivery of the latest Vancouver trolley bus order, he was promoted to manage the Canadian business for Kiepe Electric, a role he has held since 2009.  Currently, Klaus Peter oversees aftersales activities for Solaris Bus Canada.  He joined the CTHF Board in 2023.
