The CTHF and the Toronto Transportation Society (TTS) are jointly sponsoring this exciting weekend event, with these charter trips for those interested in our transit history.

We will charter a MiWay (Mississauga Transit) XDE40 for a trip to the Halton County Radial Railway on Saturday, October 26. HCRR is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. We will depart Clarkson GO station (bus terminal area on south side) at 10:00 AM, returning at 3:00 PM. Copies of the MiWay 50th Anniversary book, produced by MiWay and assisted by the CTHF, will be available for sale.

We will charter Hamilton Street Railway #1822 (New Flyer XN60 arctic, retro yellow/black scheme) on Sunday, October 27, which will include numerous photo stops as well as some historic stops in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the HSR. The charter will depart West Harbour GO Station in Hamilton at 10:30 AM, returning at 4:15 PM.

Registration and Payment Information

There are two ways to register and pay:

1. Follow this link to the CTHF e-store. If you are registering and paying online using the CTHF e-store, we would appreciate receiving your signed waiver in advance of this event, if possible. Please complete this form and email it to us at cthfpresident@gmail.com.

2. This registration form and waiver can be completed and mailed with the appropriate payment amount to the CTHF address shown on the form.
